COVID-19 & Remote Learning
At Shardlow Primary School we continue to balance the risk of infection of Covid-19 and outbreaks alongside providing high quality face to face education for our pupils. Our risk assessments and guidance are a combination of government guidance, Willows Academy Trust enhanced procedures and our knowledge of our individual setting. Any changes to our risk assessments are done in consultation and amendments are communicated to parents via Class Dojo.
The documents below detail our risk assessments and procedures. Our frequently asked questions booklet may also be helpful, especially if you are a parent and are unsure about covid symptoms and whether your child can attend school. If you require any further information of have any further questions regarding our Covid-19 procedures, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Remote Learning
“These children are only this age once.”
We do not take lightly the impact of school closures on the children’s learning and progress, and from the very first school closure have sought to provide as much support as possible for our children who are learning remotely.
We also understand the added pressures families face when a child is learning remotely; as such our plans are designed to be flexible so that pupils can access the learning at time that works best for them. If you are struggling to support your child with their remote learning please do get in touch and we will do everything we can to support you.
Please find below a copy of our Remote Learning documents. Please note that the 1-3 day remote learning plan can be found on your child's class page of the website and that extended remote learning plans are shared directly through Class Dojo. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
