Judie Anderson - Chair of Governors
Co-opted (community) governor
I have been a governor at Shardlow Primary School for over 10 years and the Chair of Governors for about 10 years. I have also been a magistrate since 1999 sitting in both adult and youth courts as a bench chair.
My background is in accountancy, helping my husband in his practice and, for many years running my own business completing VAT returns for clients. I am now retired which means that I can give as much time as is required to the school.

I am a professional engineer who previously worked for Rolls Royce as a Technical Specialist in Electrical Controls & Instrumentation.
I have many skills that are of use to the school both practical and professional including project management, leadership and problem-solving.
I am conscientious, with an attention to detail and committed to help the school to continue to develop into the future.
