Shardlow Primary School Local Governing Body (LGB) is a committee of the ONE Academy Trust Board of Trustees. 

The Board of Trustees has delegated responsibility to the LGB to fulfil governance functions related to Shardlow Primary School.  The way we operate is set out in our Articles of Association, Scheme of Delegation and Terms of Reference (copies available on the ONE Academy Trust website here).

The following governance, financial & statutory compliance information is available on the ONE Academy Trust website in the Finance & Compliance section here.  This sets out the regulatory information related to our status as a limited company with charitable status.   

• Financial management (annual trustees' report and audited accounts):  These are published every year and provide a useful summary of what the trust has achieved over the previous year and the financial position of the trust.  At least the previous 2 years accounts are available.  
• Memorandum of Association:  This is a legal statement by the company's founding members agreeing to form the company.  This is a foundational constitutional document submitted to Companies House during registration, serving as a public record of the company's name, objectives, and liability structure at the time of its formation. It acts as a "snapshot" of the company's constitution at incorporation and can no longer be amended or updated
• Articles of Association:  The articles detail the directors (trustees) powers and duties, meeting procedures, and other aspects of our management and administration.  
• Details of the ONE Academy Trust Accounting Officer:  In ONE Academy Trust the Accounting Officer is the CEO, Graham Boyd.  The Accounting Officer is responsible for the financial accountability of the trust and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. 
• Funding agreement and any supplemental funding agreements: 
• Employees earning over £100k:  We have to publish the number of employees (and payees with off payroll arrangements) whose annual salary and benefits exceeded £100k in £10k bandings, for the previous year ended 31 August. 

• ONE Academy Trust trust-wide policies: These are published on the ONE Academy Trust website with links from our school websites to ensure the most up-to-date policy is available.      
• Privacy Notices and Data Protection Information: These set out how we use and manage your personal data and how you can request access, correction or deletion.   
• Gender Pay Gap Reporting: This is a mandatory publication by companies with 250 or more employees.  It shows the average difference in pay between men and women in our organisation.  
• Trade Union Facilities Time Report: As a public sector employer, we are required to report and publish information on facility time for your employees who are trade union representatives.
• Freedom of Information Scheme: The Freedom of Information (FOI) scheme is a legal framework under the UK FOI Act 2000, that grants the public the right to access recorded information held by public authorities.  Our Scheme sets out how you can request access to information.

• Governing Board Diversity Data: Governing body diversity data includes protected characteristics such as age, disability, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation.  We are working on collating this information trust-wide and this will be published on the ONE Academy Trust website when available.
