Children from Class 2 made the news this week with their great efforts in planting the 30 trees, which were kindly donated to us by the Woodland Trust.

 

The pupils learnt all about the life cycle of a tree and then they learnt all about the three different types of tree: Cherry Blossom, Rowan and Birch. They then used the information to plan where the saplings would be planted as part of our Food for Life curriculum and over the last two weeks have been busy planting them! We look forward to seeing how they change over the years.
